Arrival and accessibility

KEHRWIEDERTURM

Arrival:

The nearest bus stop is about 300 meters from the Kehrwiederturm and is located in Wollenweberstraße. At the main station, take the number 2 bus, direction "Im Mittelfeld”, get off at "Wollenweberstraße". The Kehrwiederturm will already be visible in the direction of travel. Follow Wollenweberstraße until the end of the street, turn left onto Keßlerstraße and then make a direct right turn onto “Am Kehrwieder”. Pass under the narrow tunnel of the Kehrwiederturm and the entrance will be on your left.

Or take the regional train (“RE”), get off at “Hildesheim Ost”, which is 900 meters away from the Kehrwiederturm. Follow the road “Immengarten” and continue on to the path Kehrwiederwall. The last road is unpaved and there are narrow, cobblestone alleyways immediately surrounding the Kehrwiederturm.

Accessible parking garages are “Kantorgasse” (on the street “Kantorgasse”) and in the parking garage “Citydeck” (on the street “Kläperhagen”), both are about 600 meters away. There are several parking spots in Wollenweberstraße, approx. 200 meters from the Kehrwiederturm. Each parking option costs approx. 1.50€ per hour.

On site:

The Kehrwiederturm is not fully barrier-free. The stages and the square in front of the Kehrwiederturm can be reached via cobblestone streets at ground level. The Kehrwiederturm is a medieval tower, accessible via an outdoor steel staircase leading up to the entrance and on the inside via a narrow spiral staircase.
